AOPA Fly In Norman OK

I have been to two AOPA regional fly ins and they are well worth going. Don't miss the Friday evening Barnstormer's party. They are very nice. Wish I could make it but we have been gone every weekend and this is the only weekend we have to be home before BACFest. Gotta get ready for the big one.

Eleven point one hours of flying between Thursday morning and Sunday afternoon. 626 nm each way if you have to fly around Cumulous Granitus, but only if 14.5 is in the cards you can shorten the trip to 522 nm each way.

Left Eagle at dawn on Thursday. Weather permitted a great flight to Norman, OK (KOUN) on Thursday and back home on Sunday, again departing at dawn, for a tail wind! The AOPA event started Friday and through Sunday morning there was plenty to see. :-D

But Musketeer's were not found. I hear they are in hiding, getting ready to amass at come festival where they will be in large numbers...
