AOPA Fly-in at Camarillo

Anyone else going to AOPA's fly in later this month at Camarillo?

I was until my wife informed me we would be in Chicago that weekend.

Call it as a fly in, put it on the calendar and go. See who shows up and maybe it will be a BAC party! Dave S did that for the Colorado Springs event and we had 4 people there and still had a great time! Wish I could make it but longstanding trip planed is messing up my fly in scheduling.

I'll be arriving Thursday and camping on site, taking the mountain and overwater course on Friday, will likely head out on Saturday afternoon.

Flew into Oxnard instead of Camarillo on Friday evening. The fly in was a pretty nice event, but I think the high winds limited the numbers. Returning to San Diego, we took the Coliseum route over LA at 9500. Nice, smooth ride and it's always cool to see the airliners passing beneath you!
