Fly-in rescheduled for tomorrow Sunday August 30 due to current and forecasted weather conditions at Grimes Field (I74). Weather conditions look more favorable for BAC members to attend tomorrow. Still plan on 11:30am EDT arrival. Fly into Grimes Field and join us at the Airport Café for lunch. Arrive by 11:30am EDT. They have an outside dining area. I hear they have great pies. Place your order when you arrive and take one home.

Hello Roland. The Midwest is looking iffy for tomorrow. In discussion with Brad. Thinking about rescheduling for Sunday. Would that work for you?

What a difference a day makes. Today was good day to be up in the air. BAC members Brad Mitchell, Joe Kirby, and John Redmon were in attendance. Two Sierras and one Sundowner on the field. The Airport Cafe was quite busy with pilots and the locals. We were able to dine outdoors in the shade underneath the awning. The servers after we arrived set up umbrellas for the picnic tables. Joe was unable to get a Banana Cream Pie. They were out out bananas.
