Join fellow BAC members at Accomack Co Virginia (KMFV) where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Chesapeake Bay for the Virginia Coastal Fly-In. Upon your arrival you will be able to observe the last undeveloped barrier islands in the entire US! BAC host will be Gary Mascelli (302) 545-5314.

Food will be served from 11-3. The menu includes the usual hamburgers and hotdogs but also LOCAL CHERRYSTONE LITTLENECK CLAMS! I promise you won't find food like this at other fly-ins! Check out their website at:

Hi Gary,

I need to put some hours on my engine - so - a very tentative maybe... This might do the trick this coming Sunday if I can clear my schedule and the weather is perfect... LOL - I'll stick to the Hotdogs and Hamburgers though...

Regards,
Scott

adding detail... Sunday Oct 18,2015.
This is a nice airport, friendly people, Wide open spaces and longgggggg runway. Beautiful flying over the bay, but the airport in inland a bit. I wish i could go, but my plane goes into avionics shop Monday and Sunday is my day to remove innerds to save shop time.

I'm bummed...wife has made plans already that are unbreakable.
One of these days I'm going to make one of these things...

Does this mean you're not going?

Hi Allen,

No - still tentatively planning to come down to your neck of the woods if all the stars and moon line up correctly... I have some metal in my oil (hence my lack of enthusiasm for flying) and I need to run some hours on the engine to continue troubleshooting - which I'd like to do before it really gets cold... Figured might as well go for a long haul fly-in rather than just punch holes in the sky near my home drome... Of course I flight plan over less populated areas and won't allow any passengers until I'm sure the plane is 110% - so sans Jackie... You going ??? I'll post here either way on Saturday evening...
;)

Regards,
Scott

Scott,

I hope you get the battery issued squared away. I ditched the pair of Gills in my Sundowner and went with Concordes and a maintainer that I keep plugged in. I'm thinking the hint of snow is just as bad....I can't believe it's that time of year, already.

Two Sundowners represented the Beech Aero Club today, N6708N (2243) and N6708R (2244). After checking the vin numbers these two planes passed through the line, one behind the other.

Pictured Steve's plane, L-R Steve, Mark, Gary, Vince.

I also met one of two mice owners based at KMFV. Maybe future club members?
