Southeast Region Fly-ins 2013

It has been pointed out that fly-ins are the best way to retain and grow the membership. It also enables members to create new friendships and/or rekindle old ones.

In an effort to encourage more hosted fly-ins in the Southeast region, I am going to follow Dan's suggestion and "GIFT" a one year membership in BAC, to one person at each fly-in held between now and the end of this year. There must be 5 members in attendance. This applies to fly-ins in the Southeast Region only. The fly-in must be posted on the club calendar five days in advance. If you notify me, I will post it on the calendar and the forums.

We need everyone's assistance to increase participation in BAC events. They can be piggybacked on other events (such as a pancake breakfast) if you chose.

WOW - that is EXTREMELY nice of you - and - great original thinking outside the box...

And if someone takes pictures - I'll post - or - help post them if needed... Seems to be a common trouble spot around here...

If I lived in FL - I'm sure I'd be heading to Key West once a year - although a more centrally located position might be better attended...

i was trying to think of incentives to promote more fly-ins.
Dan suggested memberships. I think that is a win-win for everyone.
