The annual feast at the park is this Saturday, April 25. Plan to meet at Rough River (2I3) between 11:30 and noon (Central time zone) then we'll walk down to the lodge and do some damage to the buffet line.

Here's hoping for a record crowd......

Mark Carroll (Kentucky)
Harold Lightsey (Kentucky)
Brad and Ann Mitchell (Kentucky)

Hope to see more. Remember, Rough River is on Central time. Plan to arrive between 11:30 and noon, then we'll walk down to the lodge.

Brad,

I just got home from Sun n' Fun. I flew by Rough River on my way home. I was racing the storm North. I will try and make it and I hope to bring my spouse.

Well we almost made it there. tomorrow we will look for the fuel cap that I did not lock. All these years never did I not lock those caps. But today I didn't. O well just a cap and no one got hurt. ken

Nice turnout today with 3 planes and 6 people. Kenny was on his way but didn't quite make it. Winds aloft made for pretty slow going getting here, but heading home was pretty fast!

Those attending were Max & Pam Underwood, Mark Carroll, John Ritchie, Brad & Ann Mitchell. Good food was had by all.

I had not met Max and Pam before, so pleased to say I met more of our BAC family today.

Stay tuned for the next Kentucky fly-in, likely Moonlite Barbecue at KOWB.

I would have liked to have tried, but <sigh.> I spent the day, pulling a 77 Sundowner's legs, and replacing donunts, shimming the knee joint and putting it back together again...Plus other stuff...Sorry but "KLUX'ing" someone took priority today...But after the aches and pains last night, the flight up and back might have made for a better nights sleep....

Sorry for missing it, but will try next time....

Keep up the good work Monty, I for one appreciate the great leg work you do . . . I've always been a leg man.

Especially when you have to do it twice because of a defective Jo-Bolt :)

Thank you for the comment. Little one's like that tell me that 2 1/2 years of school and long hours makes it worth every minute I spend working on these wonderful aircraft.

It gives me great joy to know that my little contribution(s) help keep your pride and joys up and working for many more years to come...Thank you, sir.
