Parts swap at BACfest 2013?

The question was brought up if we were planning on having a parts swap this year. Apparently this was a high interest success last year. I think we can easily do this if some want to. Does someone want to take charge of this? Do we want to list ahead of time what we need or want to sell? I can find time and space for it if we want to but I will need some input first.

I have an item I'll bring only if someone is interested.

When I bought my Sierra the previous owners put in the baggage compartment a third row seat back and seat cushion that they had acquired years ago. My plane is not a six place plane.

The seat back and seat cushion are just sitting in my hangar and I'll never use them. If someone can use them I'll try to remember to bring them to BAC Fest. Otherwise they'll stay behind and gather dust and/or mildew.

If you want to make use of a system to List your items or put items you want I setup a site at www.aviationairplane.com which will allow you to do it(had a spare domain I wasnt using). You don't need to register to see the BACFest Swap items but you do need to register to post on it (Otherwise Id have a bunch of spammers on it). It took me all of 5 minutes to not only setup the CMS system but add in the module that allows for classifieds. Ill take the site down after BACFest. If there is anything else you would like to see let me know (Polls,Voting, etc, etc) since its a real CMS system I can literally drop in functionality with no effort IE No custom programming required.

Thanks... In the meantime and since time is short, if we want to do a live parts swap let's continue to post questions or offers to organize it here. I have lots of Beech items available here. And a Handmade "Rellihan" mount for a Garmin 396/496 that fits perfectly into a Beech cockpit for sale.

Ok well so much for that idea ive been asked to take that site down. So disregard previous post.

could be a great idea and way to do it next time. But with two weeks to go I think it better to keep the discussion here.

I particularly like the first 2 lines on the page. Don't bite down, with your tongue that firmly in cheek, it's going to leave a mark :)

When I had my Sierra's engine overhauled two years back, I decided to knock out a nearly complete firewall-forward refurb as well. So, I have my alternator (rebuilt), voltage regulator, over-voltage relay, throttle/prop/mixture cables, and a few other items (Garmin 196) that I'd love to sell/swap. Any takers? I plan on hauling these items to VA Beach nonetheless.
