OKLAHOMA - lunch at Grand Lake - Sunday - August 13th

Fly in to KGMJ in Grove, Oklahoma.  We will plan to meet at 11:30 am at the airport, drive the 5 minutes to town to pick up some BBQ, and then it is on to the pavilion at the marina (another 5 minute drive) where we will enjoy lake views and lunch.  This location is in the very northeast corner of the State of Oklahoma.

Leave after lunch .... or ... stay an extra hour or two for sailing and swimming.  Or even a lesson on my sailboard.  Your choice  (but I plan to cool off with at least a quick swim!)  So ... bring a swim suit and a towel!

Just let me know (respond in this forum thread).  BAC will pay for lunch - - - sweet!

According to the NOTAMs runways 18/36 and taxiway A are closed until Sept. 9th.

John - - thanks for the reminder - - - I had forgotten they are re-paving the runway and closed until mid-September ...  sheese!
