Norfolk, VA (KORF) PreBACFest Planning Session and Fly-In, Aug. 17

Calling anyone interested in helping out with BACFest this year or anyone who is just curious about BACFest or anyone who just wants to eat seafood, join us on Saturday, August 17! We will be meeting Pilot-In-Command Paul Werbin at Norfolk International(KORF) at 11:00. Paul will show us some of the venues and go over his plans and where he could use a little help with the festivities. We will discuss plans over lunch at one of Norfolk's great restaurants. Bring your notepad and $10.00. There is a landing fee at ORF but Paul is trying to get it waived. I'd bring the $10.00! This fly-in counts for Presidents Trophy Points and Mid-Atlantic Regional Director's Cup Points. It is also another chance to pick up your BEECH-NUT T-Shirt!

The hotel catering people would like to meet with us in the morning. I'm not sure we can do much as far as planning goes until we have better attendee numbers, but do you all want a tour?
 
Sharmalie and I will probably attend, what ever you need Paul. Tour around is up to you but I'm sure would please my very significant other.

I should be there also. Any suggestions on supplier or sponsor donations for the prize and goody bag give away . please give me a call or a email . 703-723-0986 . Thanks John. any Vendors, business or members want to donate an item or hand out lets give them the opportunity . last year prizes were amazing. I have alot of work to do so all suggestions and help appreciated.
 
I know someone who will donate toothbrushes for the goody bags!

I will be able to provide groumd transport for 7. I am planning on a hotel visit and lunch where we will start our boat trip.
