All,

New York will welcome all BAC Members to Fulton County (NY0) around 10:00 AM on Saturday morning... The airport is just West of Albany... There should be a new Bakery on the field that will be serving breakfast and lunch that came recommended... I'll confirm our visit with them when we get closer...

Grandma Millie's Bakery welcomes everyone to our NEW location at...
The Fulton County Airport !!

We have been in business for over 11 years and have received numerous awards
during that time.
Founded by Chauncey McCormick in 1999, she is now joined by her son (Jason) and
daughter-in-law (Ellen)-both with degrees in

Baking and Pastry Arts from The Culinary Institute of America.
We excitedly continue making our delicious baked goods in a much needed larger
location to accommodate the growing need for our products.
We LOVE the space at the airport and have added a decor that is old fashioned,
warm and welcoming...kind of like Grandma Millie was!!
Our specialty is retro comfort foods and when necessary for certain events we
add a gourmet and upscale flair!!
We cater meetings, events, dessert receptions and we deliver in our new "Millie
Mobile"...a 2010 Ford Transit Connect specially designed
for us with the help of Browns Ford.

One of the other reasons we wanted the airport location is that Chauncey's
oldest son (Scott) is a pilot and flight instructor in Rochester, NY.

He flew to the Fulton County Airport from Rochester to achieve his Cross Country
Certification and he will be assisting us with promoting

Grandma Millie's Bakery to other airports across New York State. We anxiously
anticipate events to promote this wonderful community.

We are known for our old fashioned recipes and quality ingredients like real
butter in all our cookies.
Our cakes are moist and full of flavor and we even make our own buttercream
frosting.
We create cakes and cupcakes for individual events and our cakes and frostings
are trans fat free!!

Our menu is mostly sweet products for now, but we are working on developing a
savory line to meet the needs of our customers at that location.
It will be a unique blend of baked items to highlight our bakery business.
For now, we invite you to visit us and enjoy the products that have made us
famous...
Cinnamon Rolls, Danish, Turnovers, Coffeecakes, Muffins, Bear Claws. Cookies,
Cakes (especially our carrot cake & pineapple upside down cake), Cupcakes
Brownies, Cheesecakes, Pies, Fruit Tarts, Italian Pastries, Chocolate Dipped
Fruits and Truffles. Call ahead to order your favorites!!

Our baked goods are very popular during the Holidays-wait until you see what we
do for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter!!

We look forward to seeing you soon!!

All,

Any takers for Saturday ???
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.

My plane is still stuck in annual - so I'll be driving...
;)

Regards,
Scott

I'm planning on it. I was in there on Good Friday and the baked goods were great and the folks very friendly.

Hi All,

Just an update - I think we have a total of 8 members that expressed interest in Fulton County... I plan on arriving around 09:30 – Tom said he will be there around 11:00 – so we’ll be out there for a while… I spoke to the Airport Manager and parking should not be an issue - he suggested that we park down by the restaurant... Look forward to seeing everyone and – hey - hey - hey “Let’s be careful out there !!!”…
: )

Regards,
Scott

Scott,
I am looking at mere haze off to the east; not the overcast and rain that was forecast. So I am hoping that the fly-in will be a success!
Of course I know that Fulton County is WEST of me. But I don't dare look that way lest those fickle weather gods think I am free to go that way!!
Steve

LOL - if the weather turns south - you know you will be blamed anyway!! Thanks - nobody here yet and I had to start driving at 0630 - so I hope someone shows up. Have a good day Steve.

; )

Regards,
Scott
