Lunch and a Short Field

We will fly into Frederick, MD (KFDK) at noon on Saturday, April 23 and taxi over to the Airways Inn Restaurant. The Airways Inn is known for their fresh seafood and delicious Maryland Crab Soup. Of course they've got lots of other good food. http://www.airwaysinnoffrederick.com After lunch, we will depart for Clearview, MD (2W2) which is only 17 nm away. Clearview has an 1800 ft runway. This is plenty long for our aircraft but don't arrive full of fuel with 4 people! If we're lucky, we may be able to get one of Clearview's coffee mugs that says "I landed at Clearview Airpark!" Make as many landings as you like to get proficient on your short field technique and then we will head for home.

I'm looking for a show of hands. Who's In?

OK, today is Thursday and so far.....crickets! Is anybody going to join me for lunch? If no one is interested, I may cancel.
 
Being as no one seems to be going, I am going to cancel this fly-in. The next Mid-Atlantic Fly-In is BAC in the Hills in May. Thankfully, it looks like a good turnout for that event already!
