I will try to be there earlier than last year. :D  I am flying part of a Houston-Cedar Rapids PNP trip sometime Saturday, so it all depends on the timing of the handoffs.

Sound good Tom, I think Jim is flying his super as well. If the other Cedar Rapids Super III's wanted to attend, we would have a Super Moment.

Steve and landed at the grass strip 6K9 in Keosauqua. Breakfast good the weather was warm. It was entertaining to wager on when each aircraft type would lift off in the 3500' density altitude and wondering how we would do. When our turn came we did as well as the rest of them. Comparing on the radio we had wheels up at about 55KTS and used less than 1/2 of the 2300'. Attached are a few pictures.

It was a good turnout for the town despite the heat. I think at one point every parking spot was used and a group of locals around every plane. I was a lot more concerned about getting off the ground than i apparently needed to be. The runway is effectively 2600 with the threshold to use.
