KAHN (Athens, GA) Hot Dog Fly-In

PalmettoPilot

In The Pattern
Not a BAC specific fly in, but the U(sic)GA aviation club hosts a hot dog fly in on the last Saturday of each month from 11-2.

I’m planning on being there this Saturday in N2324L if any other members in the GA/SC/AL/NC area want to plant to meet up.

Wonder how much flack I'd get if I showed up in my new gold tail number!  :)

Can't go as I have grandkid ball practice duty tomorrow.

Greg, Does "GT" stand for Gold Tail ???

Could be,,,,, but nah, the intent is Georgia Tech where I struggled to graduate from in '76!  I wasn't very smart in that I was stupidly married too young, going to one of the hardest engineering schools in the country, working 75% of the time, and trying to keep an unhappy "country wife" happy in a city during a major recession where she was often not employed.  Life was a major challenge then, and my only fun was learning to fly in the GT Flying club.  So my new N-number reflects that '76 was a good year, i.e. I finally graduated from GT, my only son was born, and Beechcraft made this airplane for me, I just didn't get it for another 25 years... :)

UGA (univ of Ga) is our instate rival, like most every state has...... (reference post #1).... :)

LOL.... By looking at your history, mine is so much similar... I just graduated 3 years later and 2 was trying to make a country girl happy and she too didn't like to work and lost more jobs than she could keep and wasn't faithful either... Now I am waiting for the Beechcraft has made that will be for me.... I just have gotten it yet!!! https://www.beechaeroclub.org/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif[/img] Instead of a Son, I have an 8 year old Savannah Cat that loves to ride in a car... Just wondering how she will like flying!
