Weather at KSPF Friday and Saturday is expecting snow (3”) and ice above 4500 feet until late Saturday. The pattern altitude is 4800’ and Devils tower is 5113 feet.
Very dangerous flying. Right now there is fog surface to 1100 agl expected to clear 1 hour before dark. I will still be a Spearfish and Deadwood but not going to risk me little pink body to shoot a couple of pictures of Devil’s tower. When I fly Tillie out Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, I’ll take pictures then. If any one comes to gamble I’m in the Mineral Palace Hotel, Casino and Saloon.
