Race steps off at 10am and then ongoing for several hours
Event Location
One thousand four hundred feet over Hopkinton, Massachusetts
26+ miles west of Boston
There is no flight restriction to fly over the Boston Marathon

Fixed wing be at 1400' making left turns.
Helicopters are making right turns at 900'.
East bound fly south of the course. West fly north of the course.

Watch out for potential low level jet fly-over just prior to 10am start.

Get local altimeter from KBED ATIS.

Call FSS for common traffic advisory frequency.

Boston Class Bravo begins at 8 dme from BOS 112.7 at 1400'. Call Boston Skyways 124.725 for entry (maybe).

Lots of other aircraft in the area. BE CAREFUL! Be there, Aloha!

Now...everyone keep checking for a popup TFR. As of now, and in past races, there has been none. But you never know.
