Touring the Galaxy
I will be at Watts Woodland Airport on Sunday at 9am for Breakfast. There is a little restaurant in the club house north of the field at the Country Club. YOU MUST WEAR A SHIRT WITH A COLLAR-club rules. Come and join me. Let's talk BAC, Musketeers or whatever . I will be there until 11:00 am then I have to run.
The airport is 12 miles west of Sacramento Intl. I will buy breakfast for the person who flies in from the farthest location or if the weather is bad drives in from the farthest location. -Bob

I wear Wal-Mart shirts with collars all the time, and Levi’s, is that appropriate attire, or is business casual with Haggar/Docker slacks and a nicer shirt better for this event?

I am going to try to make the event Bob.

Mike

Sounds like I won't be eating alone. Aris bring your door post and nylon yoke block if you fly and we will see about installing one or both -Bob

Bob,

I tried (quietly without comment) hard to make it work, but it just isn't gonna happen for me. As you know one of my daughters and her kids lives there in Woodland, and we haven't seen her in a while, so we were trying to make the trip. But we are off to Whistler BC thursday AM, and that would really cram us up.

I'll sure try harder next one! Besides, I still owe you one!

For the guys who can't make it, no problem, we'll see you next time. You will miss out on giving your input on world problems. We hope to have most of these solved during this session.-Bob

Bob, I truely regret not being there for the resolutions of the worlds problems. But at least I know the world is in good hands!

Bob,

Good thing you don't have to fly-in, the weight and balance would really mess up a baby beech flying all that money in. According to most politicians these days, all we need to solve all of our problems is a boatloads of money. I got to thinking about it, money would solve most of my problems. Bring large bills so I can fit them all in my airplane for the trip home.

Really looking forward to it.
Mike
ps: Did I say you're the ($$$$) man!

Mike, I don't care what the politicians say, it is not money but a keen analysis of a problem that brings about solutions. For example they say Health Care is our largest cost, I say poo-poo. The simple way to avoid Health Care costs took me about 5 seconds to solve-Don't get sick, simple, problem solved. High fuel prices, simple, stay home-easy solution. I don't know why people think these things are complicated. That is all I am going to divulge until tomorrow.

Winds are blowing here today, watch them tomorrow.-Bob out

We had a great turn out today for breakfast. Ron Beech arrived at 9am followed by the Westbrook family. As we visited, Adam Silverthorn from the ipilot group arrived in a 182 RG from Concord. Mike Samac flew in a few minutes later from San Jose and we all enjoyed the food and hangar talk. After consuming all the coffee we could hold, we drove to my hangar and held discussions on Musketeers to Bonanza's. The last view of the morning was Mike lifting off in his Sundowner and heading south. Overall, a fun time. (Mike has pictures he will post-right Mike)

Thanks for inviting us Bob! We should have a monthly (or semi-monthly) breakfast get together. As usual, great to see some of the fellow BAC'ers, and meet someone new. I have a pic of us in the clubhouse, but not sure how to get it on here. Help Mike!

It was a great day, but a pretty rough ride. We got a few bumps today, grows a little extra hair on your chest for winter! :D

There is a nice shot with all of us in Bob's hanger. (Ron, Bob, Aris, Mike, and Adam)

This is on departure from Watts-Woodland O41 heading back to San Jose in the Sundowner; very beautiful country in the Central California Valley, Northeast of San Francisco about 60, perhaps 70 miles.

Aris, post your photos to Photobucket, then cut the IMG image out, and just paste it here, and there you have it.

I look forward to the next trip. Bob had me really excited for a golf fly-in at Woodland... I can't wait!

... and we did solve all the world's problems today, so relax go to work tomorrow and enjoy, all is well!
