Ok that got your attention.
Corryong Airport, in the north east of Victoria is holding a fly in on November 22nd to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the wreckage of the Southern Cloud.

It's a great opportunity for some of the Aussie brethren to get together, tell lots of lies and admire each others aeroplanes..I know everyone will want to admire mine...The sparkling paint, the oh so modern glass cockpit (touch something too hard and it breaks!!) and the genuine velour seat covers...yes stand back and admire Super Mouse..The further back the better.
Oh and the free beer..The first BAC'er who parks his aeroplane next to mine will receive a schooner of an Ale of their choice!!!

Mark Smith,
VH-DYA.

Excellent, wish I could make the trip but it's a bit much from Salt Lake CIty, UT, USA. Don't let me stop you Aussies though!

Have a great time!

Well, dang it! I don't have that kind of range with these tanks but flying somewhere to get tanked ain't out of the question

In general, I don't put the two ideas together but I wish you all a fine time with good weather, a good turn out and safe trip both ways!

Bob

What kind of ale do you have? :)

Smithy,

Put it on the BAC calendar as a BAC fly-in so it'll count for PT points and as far as I know it would be the first BAC fly-in in Oz.
