AOPA Regional Fly-In - Carbondale, IL (KMDH) - Friday & Saturday, Oct. 5-6, 2018

I have been fortunate to attend three of AOPA's regional fly-ins. First Indy Regional in 2014, Tullahoma in 2015, and Battle Creek in 2016. They just seem to get better each time. That is why I am looking forward to Carbondale, IL on Friday & Saturday, Oct. 5 - 6 at Southern Illinois Airport (KMDH). I plan on arriving on Friday and camping by the airplane. I have been to two others as well - St. Simons in 14 and Tullahoma in 15 both were great even tho Tullahoma was somewhat rained out. I will be heading to the Gulf Shores fly-in at the end of Oct. hope to see other BAC members there.

Here in Indy we have had low ceilings and now heavy rain this afternoon. Not flying out today. Over four hours to drive to Carbondale. So, I may not be making this one.
