Any interest?? BBQ or meet during AOPA San Marcos April 26th

Yes, I am new at this ....

So ... do we have any interest in our Mouse driver crowd flying to San Marcos, Texas this month for the AOPA event? I would enjoy a side meeting for our group with a BBQ at my airport ("8T8") .... or ... meeting at the diner at the Fredericksburg airport (T82). Fredericksburg has a VERY nice on-airport hotel (converted hangar) and also a pretty spiffy diner right on the ramp. Thursday (24th), Friday (25th) or Sunday (27th) would all be reasonable dates.

My hangar and airport (San Geronimo Airpark) environment is a little more "rugged", but friendly with a BBQ pit and large shade tree, and parking on the grass. We could grab the EAA Chapter 35 building if we want to enjoy airconditioning during the meal (it's a Texas thing).

What say you ????

Nelson, I wish you luck hosting your first official BAC fly in. In the earlier days of the club, I was able to host 3 fly in's in Texas and they were well attended. Seems like they were at Temple, Fort Worth, and Sulphur Springs.
