Australia would be price Group 12 or Group 6 when used with the Flat Rate Boxes. I use a flat rate box in the United States, but internationally they limit it to 20 pounds so that would not work for the ABW, the unit I have ready to go weighs 23.2 #, so it will probably weigh 24 pounds when it is all packaged and ready for shipping.
If I shipped it out in a 24 pound package the shipping would be $289.08 for price group 12.
If I shipped it out in a Medium Flat Rate Box it would be Price Group 6 and the box would cost $112.70 to ship out, but the weight is limited to 20 pounds. If I shipped the 10# ABW and the 12# ABW in two medium flat rate boxes the cost would be $112.70 for each box or $225.40 for the two boxes. I attached screen shots of what researched so you can see how I came up with these numbers using USPS.
Since my price of $600 already includes shipping in the United States I would need an additional $200 to cover shipping two Medium Flat Rate Boxes.
Hi Jeff. Thank you so much for that information.
I’m just checking with my A&P now.
At this stage FedEx economy sounds good.
I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks again
Rod.
Hi Jeff. At this stage, I would like to go ahead with purchasing your product.
I understand total price to you will be USD700.
Is this agreeable? Regards, Rod.
I hope you had a nice flight. I was going to fly today but the wind was picking up, so I canceled my plans.
I found out that Venmo and Zelle are not used to send money internationally.
The only way I know of to send the funds in USD from Australia to United States would be by using an international money transfer.
The following information is all that you will need.
The Swift Code is WFBIUS6S
Bank Address is: Wells Fargo Bank, NA 333 Market Street San Francisco, CA 94105
Rod I looked up the phone number for the Aldinga Aero Maintenance and put that number down, but if you want a cell instead just give me the
best phone number to use and an email address will probably give you tracking and customs information on the order. I added $500 insurance and I declared the value for Customs at $499.
I think the customs HTS code I used for civil aircraft parts is duty free.
