For sale 1979 Beech Skipper - Coming Soon!

Complete fresh engine overhaul!
$67,500.00

Details

I am listing her to the Beech Community first - I bought this airplane in August - The Pre-Buy was a huge miss! My mechanic discovered the engine was in a bad state. Buying the aircraft and dropping 30k+ into an Annual and an engine overhaul is devastating my finances, I had to take out a loan to get it taken care of and will need to sell the airplane to recover.

Now is the time for someone to schedule a thorough pre-buy while she is all taken apart. ETA for completion is late February. Currently located in Cuba MO - KUBX. @2.5 hour drive East of Springfield MO. And you get to be the one to break her in properly!

This beautiful Beech Skipper is currently in extensive Annual. She sat too much over the years, and after pulling one low cylinder that was at 62, my mechanic borescoped the internals and we were not happy with how the cylinders, cam and lifters were looking. So, we are currently pulling it apart for a complete top overhaul and IRAN across the board. 4 new Millennium cylinders will be installed, a new 2400 TBO camshaft, looking like a new crankshaft as well (currently being sent out for inspection), new lifters, bearings etc., the 500 hour MAG inspection will be done, anew ELT Battery and anything else we run across that doesn't meet Lycoming/Beech specifications or AD requirements. We are also replacing all the lines/hoses on the entire aircraft as they are old and stiff.

This is going to be an airplane ready to serve for many many years to come! While the airplane is apart, it is the perfect time to get your pre-buy done! I expect it to be done late February/early March.
